Val MacDonald, RHN

Val is a Registered Holistic Nutritionist who is teaching the cooking segment of the program. She is happy to share with you what she has experienced in nutrition and how it can truly transform your health.  Val became familiar with the power of eating whole foods during her own healing journey, after experiencing health challenges for many years.  Everything happens for a reason, she believes.  After having such success with implementing a new way of eating and living, she decided to teach others to do the same.
Val’s background is in customer service, including fifteen years as a Licensed Dispensing Optician.  Prior to studying nutrition she had worked as a receptionist at a busy wellness centre for four and a half years.  It was there that she was inspired to become a professional in the field of health and wellness.  She chose nutrition as my modality as she really does have a passion for good food.  After graduating from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition she started “Food for Thought Nutrition and Wellness Consulting”.
